Job Summary

Finance professional responsible for overseeing actuals, closing, reporting and forecasting for Essco trading entities in China and Singapore. Leads P&L and balance sheet checks, master data accuracy, budgeting cycles, and supports internal/external audits to ensure compliance and timely, high-quality financial statements.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee and execute finance actuals, closing, reporting and forecasting activities for assigned legal entity(s) to ensure timely delivery and accuracy of financial statements in compliance with local and group accounting policies.
•Perform thorough sanity checks of P&L and Balance Sheet, monitor and conduct financial variance analysis, address exceptional items to ensure financial stability and accuracy; review integrity and quality of all sub ledgers, including balance reconciliation, to identify and resolve discrepancies.
•Responsible for the compliance, correctness, and completeness of the applicable master data fields for the assigned legal entities.
•Lead budget and forecast cycles for the assigned legal entity(s), align the financial plans and business objectives with related stakeholders, track performance against targets.
•Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations, support and coordinate internal and external audit processes.

•University qualification in accounting/finance, 3-5 years’ experience in finance controlling or a related role
•Good SAP knowledge and hands-on experience
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills
