Key Responsibilities

  • •Review, evaluate, and summarize risk exposures, controls, loss history, and financial condition to support underwriting decisions on acceptance or declination.
  • •Follow Underwriter instructions to support policy rating, subjective pricing, policy construction, coverages and exclusions, and mandatory forms to quote and issue policies.
  • •Provide account servicing support with responsibility for end-to-end servicing for new business, renewals, and endorsements for basic to moderately complex products.
  • •Respond to written and verbal inquiries on time under close supervision while collaborating with assigned Underwriters.
  • •Support Underwriter interactions with brokers, agents, distributors, and customers using basic customer service skills.

Salary: USD 23.8 - 38.94 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree with no prior experience in the administrative, customer service, financial services, risk management, or insurance area; OR Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice (including associate degree) with no prior experience in those areas; OR high school diploma/equivalent with 2+ years of experience in those areas.
  • •Knowledge of data collection and analysis.
  • •Microsoft Office experience.
  • •Insurance industry knowledge.
  • •Strong verbal and written communication skills with active listening and relationship building.
