Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical inputs for complex drainage and/or flood engineering projects across major infrastructure and development sectors.
  • •Deliver drainage designs, stormwater management plans, and hydraulic assessments for local council and major infrastructure clients.
  • •Provide specialised hydrologic and hydraulic analysis using tools such as Civil3D/12D and TUFLOW and related modelling software.
  • •Develop practical solutions to drainage, flooding, and water quality challenges and produce high-quality technical reports.
  • •Support project teams with technical guidance, mentoring, quality assurance, and trusted advice to clients, regulators, and stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven drainage/flood modelling industry experience (circa 5–15 years+).
  • •Experience in planning, hydraulic assessment and design of stormwater and drainage networks, or hydrologic modelling/assessments.
  • •Confident software skills including Civil 3D or 12d and/or TUFLOW, plus URBS and/or XP-Rafts, and QGIS and/or ArcGIS.
  • •RPEQ or ability to apply for RPEQ (preferred).
  • •Ability to provide technical leadership, design review and mentoring, with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
