Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and DOT inspections with follow-up repairs for light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
  • •Diagnose, adjust, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, electronic, and related truck equipment; road test vehicles to confirm issues.
  • •Use test instruments and listen/inspect defective equipment to identify malfunctions; manage concurrent tasks and prioritize work.
  • •Maintain and operate the company-issued service vehicle, including safety checks and pre-/post-trip inspections.
  • •Independently manage parts inventory, complete DOT forms and Repair Orders, and document work (including photos) using company standards and the proprietary TRAIT application.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/GED with 3 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination including additional degree/certification or 5 years of related experience.
  • •At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment.
  • •Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required job duties.
  • •OEM training and certifications are preferred; complete all company-required training.
  • •Must be able to pass DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical; current valid DOT medical card with required validity; must be at least 21 and hold a valid driver’s license.
