Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead end-to-end design and development of molded inductor products for power conversion and advanced electronics applications.
  • •Design, develop, prototype, test, and validate magnetic components for computing, automotive, industrial, and energy applications.
  • •Translate system/customer requirements into detailed electrical, magnetic, mechanical, and material specifications, including schematics and 3D CAD models.
  • •Partner with suppliers, SQE, and manufacturing teams on design for manufacturability, reliability, and cost effectiveness.
  • •Support qualification/certification/compliance activities, customer applications, failure analysis, and manage engineering change and product lifecycle activities.

Key Requirements

  • •B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, materials science/engineering, or related field.
  • •7+ years designing magnetic components/power passives, with hands-on experience in molded inductors or similar magnetic products.
  • •Strong understanding of magnetic circuit theory (saturation, hysteresis, core/copper losses, temperature effects, EMI).
  • •Experience with magnetic powder materials and molded magnetics processes (winding, powder mixing, cold/hot pressing, curing, finishing, online testing).
  • •Experience with industry standards such as AEC-Q200 and reliability qualification methodologies, plus prototyping/testing and technical documentation.
