Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide leadership and oversight for company safety, health, and risk management programs, managing a team of about six safety professionals.
  • •Interface with company leadership to address safety concerns and maintain safety compliance across fixed locations via site visits and documentation of deficiencies.
  • •Work with field crews to promote safety philosophies, expectations, and personal responsibility.
  • •Oversee claims and incident management, including incident analysis, injury prevention strategies, reporting, and implementation of system improvements.
  • •Ensure safety recordkeeping (OSHA/MSHA) and collaborate with HR and safety consultants on safety initiatives, toolbox meetings, safety updates, and related processes.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS degree in Occupational Safety or related field, or comparable professional experience in industrial safety.
  • •Full understanding of OSHA/MSHA/DOT regulations pertaining to safety and health.
  • •Computer skills in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with ability to learn internal software and data management programs.
  • •Appropriate MSHA or OSHA required training, plus CRH/division mandated training as needed.
  • •Must pass a drug test, physical, and criminal background check.
