Key Responsibilities

  • •Create a learning climate, identify clear teaching objectives, set targets, and plan lessons to maintain pace, challenge, and engagement.
  • •Differentiate for SEN (POD), EAL, and G&T students and use assessment for learning and performance data to inform planning.
  • •Maintain discipline in line with the school's Behaviour for Learning Policy and support standards for punctuality, work, and homework.
  • •Mark work at least once every two weeks, assess and record progress systematically, and prepare informative reports for parents.
  • •Lead/support CAS activities, act as Academic Mentor and Extended Essay Supervisor to Year 12/13, and cover for absent colleagues including examination invigilation as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's Degree in Primary Education.
  • •2+ years teaching experience.
  • •Very good/outstanding teaching capability with proven success across a range of abilities.
  • •Experience teaching PYP or British curriculum.
  • •Experience working in more than one International School.
