Key Responsibilities

  • •Own electronics subsystem execution for Apollo’s sensor bridge, including requirements definition, part selection, schematic capture, layout guidance, and FPGA RTL implementation.
  • •Design and validate high-speed, mixed-signal interfaces and power tree sequencing, addressing signal integrity, impedance control, length matching, EMC/ESD, and thermal constraints.
  • •Develop FPGA RTL for CSI-2 ingest, Ethernet packetization, timestamp/metadata insertion, and camera synchronization logic; support timing closure and clock-domain crossing.
  • •Create and execute validation plans across board and FPGA levels, build test fixtures, use lab equipment, and debug issues across hardware/RTL with root-cause analysis.
  • •Support prototype-to-manufacturing release, including design documentation, lifecycle/PLM activities, and alignment with hardware vendors and contract manufacturers; collaborate cross-functionally and mentor junior engineers.

Salary: USD 170,000 - 195,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering with FPGA hardware design for high-performance, time-sensitive applications.
  • •Hands-on RTL development in VHDL and/or Verilog and FPGA device selection/architecture work.
  • •Experience designing and validating high-speed interfaces such as CSI-2, GMSL/SerDes, Ethernet (including 10GbE) and timing closure (clock-domain crossing, resource optimization).
  • •Knowledge of camera/image sensor hardware integration (e.g., MIPI CSI-2, SerDes such as GMSL/FPD-Link, and ISP integration) and Ethernet-based sensor streaming/sensor bridges.
  • •Use FPGA tool flows such as Vivado, Quartus, or Lattice Radiant, plus simulation tools (ModelSim/Questa or equivalent), and execute lab-based prototyping/validation and debugging.
