Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the recognized SME for Indian payroll implementations.
  • •Lead payroll discovery workshops and advise customers on legislation and best practice.
  • •Validate payroll configuration with Product and Engineering.
  • •Lead payroll testing, parallel runs, and payroll validation.
  • •Own India implementation playbooks, documentation, and knowledge sharing (supporting go-live readiness and first payroll).

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 10 years’ experience processing and implementing Indian payroll.
  • •Extensive hands-on experience operating Indian payroll in-house.
  • •Expert knowledge of Indian payroll legislation, tax, social insurance, and statutory reporting.
  • •Extensive experience with leading Indian payroll engines (ideally Rise).
  • •Must be based in India and have the legal right to work in India, with fluency in English and Indian (written and spoken).
