Lead the continuous improvement program for Customs and Global Trade, deploying compliant, tech-enabled solutions to optimize export/import processes. Define and oversee controls, procedure documentation, and governance; collaborate cross-functionally to ensure policy adherence; develop training, and identify/report compliance risks to balance risk and business objectives in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Determine assessment and controls objectives for Customs import/export; provide strategic guidance for controls monitoring to achieve desired results.
•Implement and oversee clear customs process documentation; align stakeholders to achieve results.
•Collaborate with internal stakeholders to verify compliance with company policies and procedures.
•Leverage trade regulation expertise and regulators’ intent to ensure controls and corrective actions yield a balanced risk portfolio.
•Develop and deliver training; identify and report potential violations of trade compliance laws and any significant weaknesses in processes or procedures.

Salary: USD 107,500 - 204,500 annually

Key Requirements

•University degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 8 years in Customs and/or Global Trade, or an advanced degree with at least 5 years of experience
•Licensed Customs Broker or Certified Customs Specialist, or demonstrated experience in these areas
•Experience with CFR19 U.S. Customs regulations and areas such as HS Classification, FTAs, Customs Valuations, Country of Origin determination
•U.S. citizenship is required to access information under this program/contract
