Key Responsibilities

  • •Independently evaluate and structure lower-complexity credit requests, including cash flow lending, asset-based lending, term loans, and commercial real estate loans.
  • •Perform independent credit analysis and risk assessment for credit requests and existing relationships, including preparing financial and third-party review materials.
  • •Prepare comprehensive credit packages and financial models, including forecasting cash flows and stress-testing debt service under economic scenarios.
  • •Analyze financial metrics (e.g., EBITDA, leverage ratios, fixed charge coverage, working capital cycles) and evaluate collateral quality, lien position, and guarantees.
  • •Monitor borrower financial health and covenant compliance, update risk ratings, and coordinate with Relationship Manager and Loan Administration on due diligence and documentation review.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field and/or relevant work experience.
  • •Formal credit training and/or Intermediate/Financial Accounting 1 and 2 preferred.
  • •Good-to-strong understanding of lending, including cash flow and collateral analysis and loan structuring.
  • •Working knowledge of lending and bank compliance requirements, including applicable federal and state regulations.
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); IBS and Ncino are a plus.
