Key Responsibilities

  • •Open, close, and maintain checking, savings, time deposit, and IRA accounts, and assist with safe deposit boxes, savings bonds, credit cards, and basic consumer loans.
  • •Answer client questions and resolve issues by listening, collecting data, and providing accurate solutions while maintaining privacy of customer information.
  • •Profile customers to identify sales opportunities and cross-sell bank products and services, using lead lists and other strategies to generate additional business.
  • •Process new accounts and changes to existing accounts (names, addresses, product changes, and account maintenance) and ensure data entry and reports are accurate and timely.
  • •Support treasury management by establishing new accounts and services, oversee year-end reporting and banking-center projects (e.g., safe deposit key audit), and assist the Banking Center Manager as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •High school graduate (or equivalent).
  • •Good understanding of financial services and products.
  • •Minimum 3+ years of new account experience.
  • •Complete Personal Banker Mentor Program or Personal Banker Learning Plan (and Teller Learning Plan, if applicable).
  • •Training/knowledge required for secure code/caller identification, DocuSign usage, and onboarding tasks such as opening accounts, issuing debit cards, and completing customer file maintenance.
