Job Summary

Responsible for overall maintenance and repair of equipment, tools, and machinery at the plant. Perform repairs and adjustments, operate shop tools and related machines, and assist with electrical and minor electrical repairs, along with pipe-fitting and installation tasks. Support preventive maintenance to keep equipment running efficiently and safely, optimize uptime for quality production, and help maintain housekeeping and site safety programs.

Key Responsibilities

•Make repairs and adjustments to machinery and assist in dismantling equipment to repair or replace defective components.
•Operate shop tools, equipment, and machines related to maintenance as permitted by skill level.
•Assist in electrical projects and perform minor electrical repairs, including supporting pipe-fitting tasks and equipment installation.
•Maintain production equipment to optimize equipment uptime, improve reliability and operating efficiency, and conduct preventive maintenance.
•Support site housekeeping and safety programs and assist with other related tasks as needed.

Key Requirements

•Must have at least two years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or shop environment.
•Understand basic electrical and pneumatic diagrams, including experience diagnosing 115 VAC control circuitry.
•Experience performing preventative maintenance and repairs to conveyor systems.
•Must have welding and oxy/fuel cutting experience.
•Must have basic electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic knowledge, and be able to read, write, and communicate effectively with team members.
