Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma/GED OR 5+ years of Field Service experience with LMR, IT, Radio, RF Systems, wired/wireless communication systems, networking equipment, military experience, or public safety experience.
  • •Very strong knowledge of wired communications systems (LAN and WAN) and proficiency installing, configuring, and maintaining cabling, routers, switches, firewalls, and bridges.
  • •Knowledge of RF systems, including transmitters, receivers, and antenna networks.
  • •Experience with ASTRO P25 systems.
  • •Knowledge of standard telephony and dedicated data circuits, including packet switching techniques, plus proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access.
