Key Responsibilities

  • •Undertake walkthroughs of financial and regulatory reporting processes, perform periodic testing of key controls, and manage month-end accounting close activities to meet deadlines.
  • •Deliver timely, accurate, fully reconciled financial information, ensuring data integrity and auditability across reporting outputs.
  • •Support management with first-line analysis of variances and drivers, and respond to regular and ad hoc data/report requests from finance and non-finance customers.
  • •Ensure reporting and analysis are provided to key stakeholders by deadlines and comply with HSBC policies, procedures, and work practices.
  • •Facilitate automation for local reporting to improve efficiency and reduce errors, including using Python, Excel macros, and Qlik, and support finance projects and reporting transformation.
