Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist the U.S. Government with supply, inventory, and stockpile management for U.S. Army ammunition stocks in USCENTCOM, including storage levels and theater stockage objectives.
  • •Provide management and asset visibility using ammunition management automation sites and systems such as SAAS, TAMIS, MHP, and NLAC.
  • •Identify shortages, recommend resupply actions, and monitor on-hand stocks for theater war reserves and operational/training ammunition.
  • •Track shipment movement of ammunition by air, ground, and sea, and provide Excel and PowerPoint reporting on stock levels.
  • •Serve as subject matter expert in ammunition operations and contingency planning, including receiving and evaluating ABL requests and tracking their status.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree (or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree).
  • •Active Secret security clearance; ability to obtain/maintain Kuwait Work Visa and meet CENTCOM/CRC medical and deployment requirements for OCONUS.
  • •5+ years of Theater/Operational level conventional ammunition management experience, including distribution and accountability.
  • •10+ years of technical experience with ammunition management and theater distribution.
  • •Proficiency in SAAS operations and working knowledge of TAMIS, MHP, and NLAC, including interpreting and applying rules and procedures.
