Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical support for control systems throughout the facility, including after-hours support.
  • •Troubleshoot and debug existing controls packages for optimal performance, including PLCs, HMIs, drives, ladder logic, industrial networks, and data systems.
  • •Assist in analyzing technical issues within systems and proposing or implementing solutions using basic engineering principles.
  • •Support the design and implementation of intuitive, user-friendly HMIs for operators.
  • •Create and maintain detailed documentation and backups of controls programs, configurations, best practices, changes, and critical PLC/HMI/PC systems.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline from an ABET-accredited program, preferred.
  • •Entry level to three years of experience, preferred.
  • •Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings.
  • •Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment (e.g., internship or group project participation).
  • •Proficiency in controls programming languages such as ladder logic, structured text, and function block diagrams.
