Key Responsibilities

  • •Own high-volume production test metrics (yield, coverage, escape/first-pass yield, tester throughput, and tester uptime) and drive cross-functional root cause with CAM, PCB operations, and SMT.
  • •Build and lead a team of engineers and specialists, including hiring, development, and performance expectations.
  • •Own test fixture and rack design for multi-unit production test, including mechanical design and electrical interfaces optimized for production rate, changeover, and durability.
  • •Own test PCBA design and release (schematic, layout, bring-up, and fabrication/assembly) for boards used in the test process.
  • •Set technical priorities and capacity across new-product introduction, sustaining, and debug; provide leadership visibility into staffing, yield, downtime, and throughput while transferring working test capability across SpaceX sites.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or another engineering discipline.
  • •5+ years of experience in high-volume electrical or manufacturing test (ICT, flying probe, functional, or equivalent production board test).
  • •2+ years leading engineers, including hiring and performance management.
