Key Responsibilities

  • •After completing the Graduate Training Program, assume responsibilities as an Associate Account Manager specializing in equipment, services, or controls in a predetermined office location.
  • •Sell HVAC equipment and building management controls to commercial, industrial, and institutional customers.
  • •Partner with engineers, architects, contractors, and owners/developers to design, apply, and sell equipment, controls, parts, and services.
  • •Build and strengthen customer relationships by identifying and understanding customer needs throughout a full sales cycle.
  • •Develop and execute sales plans for the territory, meet/exceed sales targets, and secure design wins to achieve quotas.

Key Requirements

  • •Possess a bachelor’s degree in Engineering (open to all engineering areas of emphasis), completed prior to the program start.
  • •Passion for continuous learning in technical fields and ability to understand and communicate engineering solutions.
  • •Prior internship experience at Trane Technologies or ability to commence in-office work 3 months prior to the GTP start date.
  • •Must be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
  • •Ability to temporarily relocate for the 14-week training program and have a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with proof of insurance.
