Key Responsibilities

  • •Pull chicks and place for processing; properly dispose of substandard chicks.
  • •Operate high pressure washer to clean trays, dollies, hatchery; use high pressure hose to sanitize trays, dollies, hatchery and equipment.
  • •Pad up to 1500 empty chick boxes and lift/stack chick boxes into stacks and rows at production pace.
  • •Push/pull hatcher baskets on casters into the Pull Room and place chicks onto the belt, including required overhead lifting.
  • •Maintain biosecurity/animal welfare requirements and complete additional duties such as temperature readings and cleaning/sanitizing rooms as assigned.
