Key Responsibilities

  • •Own uptime, calibration, maintenance, and configuration control for specialized characterization tools (IV testers, EL imaging systems, CV/QE measurement tools, light soak chambers).

Key Requirements

  • •Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in an engineering discipline (or similar technical discipline) with the specified combination of relevant technical experience (varies by degree and internal equivalent roles).
  • •Hands-on experience working in laboratory or manufacturing environments with strong familiarity of plant and laboratory operations and adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • •Strong ability to plan, organize, design, and execute experiments with minimal supervision, including preliminary data analysis and generating clear reports, work instructions, and procedures.
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite; experience with JMP, SQL, MATLAB, or Python for data analysis is a plus.
  • •Solid understanding of PV device physics, thin-film solar technologies, and electrical measurement techniques, including ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings with foundational knowledge of electrical circuits and PCB design.
