Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform inspections, operations, and maintenance of wind turbine equipment.
  • •Identify when equipment is outside normal operating limits and recognize malfunctions.
  • •Maintain accurate records of work performed and ensure safety procedures and strict order of operations are followed.
  • •Follow health and safety procedures to isolate hazardous energy sources (e.g., lockout-tagout).
  • •Support preventive and predictive maintenance, assist with warranty claim investigation, and respond to call-outs.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED with three years of relevant wind experience, or an associate degree in a relevant field/Wind Certificate with one year of relevant wind experience.
  • •Experience with AC and DC electrical systems.
  • •Experience with rigging, rotating equipment, shaft alignment, torqueing, and mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • •Basic knowledge of wind turbine software systems and CMMS systems (e.g., GE Toolbox and Wind SCADA, Maximo).
  • •Ability to climb (including heights exceeding 260 feet), lift equipment/parts/tools (50+ pounds), and meet attendance requirements; valid non-CDL Driver’s License.
