Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate, control, and maintain medium, high, and extra-high voltage electrical systems (4.16 kV–230 kV) supporting sitewide operations.
  • •Perform electrical switching (energizing, de-energizing, isolating, grounding, and restoring power) and maintain the site electrical distribution backbone.
  • •Establish and verify Conditions of Hazardous Energy (CoHE), including voltage verification, grounding, and phasing.
  • •Safely execute planned and unplanned outages, tie-ins, and restorations with sitewide operational impact.
  • •Interpret one-line diagrams and protection schemes, respond to abnormal conditions and emergencies, and maintain accurate maintenance records.

Key Requirements

  • •1–2 years of experience in industrial or semiconductor electrical systems.
  • •1–2 years of general maintenance experience.
  • •Ability to work Monday through Friday on first shift with flexibility for on-call coverage, or work 12-hour shifts with alternate schedules and overtime as required.
  • •Comply with and maintain qualifications in OSHA 1910.269, NESC, NFPA, and MV/HV/EHV safety practices.
  • •Preferred: Valid Electrical Journeyman License; 3+ years of related electrical systems experience; Associate’s degree or Trade School in a related field.
