Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver quality nursing care in collaboration with a multi-professional team.
  • •Identify, prevent, and manage risks to ensure patient safety.
  • •Facilitate a positive patient experience by creating a conducive environment.
  • •Provide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions.
  • •Create a learning environment that builds staff competence and ensure stock/equipment are accurately charged.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree / Diploma in General Nursing.
  • •Desired: Midwifery and/or a postgraduate certificate/diploma in a relevant specialty area.
  • •Desired experience: 1 year post-graduate qualification experience before placement in a specialised unit.
  • •Strong knowledge of infection prevention and control, pharmacology, scientific nursing principles/process, and relevant nursing legislation.
  • •Basic life support training (ACLS; ATLS; PALS training for specialised wards) and ability in nursing record keeping, patient assessment, and risk identification.
Education:Associate's in General Nursing
