Key Responsibilities

•Lead the development and execution of comprehensive communications strategies for the Chief Medical Officer aligned to Philips’ purpose, priorities, culture, and values.
•Partner with the Chief Medical Officer and medical/clinical leaders to keep employees informed, engaged, and aligned on key clinical priorities.
•Create executive messaging, content, talking points, Q&A, presentations, and narrative across internal channels such as Viva Engage, Global Town Halls, leadership meetings, and employee webcasts.
•Support CMO thought-leadership platforms like Future Health Index by translating evidence and healthcare-professional insight into credible internal and external-ready messaging.
•Oversee consistency across channels, manage content calendars and governance, and measure/report effectiveness to drive continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

•8+ years of experience in internal and/or external communications with business partnering at a C-suite level in a global international organization, preferably in healthcare/medtech/clinical affairs or another regulated industry.
•Master’s Degree in Communications, Business Administration, Marketing, Brand Management, Health Policy, Medical Affairs, Public Health, or equivalent experience.
•Strong understanding of healthcare systems, clinical stakeholders, patient-centered care, and medical/scientific evidence, including the role of technology and AI in care delivery.
•Proven ability to translate complex medical, scientific, and technology topics into clear executive messages with accuracy, nuance, and stakeholder trust.
•Ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and guide leaders through change, sensitive topics, and ambiguity.
