Key Responsibilities

  • •Teach all areas of the Primary English National Curriculum across the age ability range.
  • •Organise the classroom and resources, create displays, and support Mamoura British Academy’s USP through high-quality learning.
  • •Provide support and interventions for students with EAL or additional learning needs, working with relevant professionals when required.
  • •Assess and track pupil attainment and progress, record development using Learning Ladders, and provide regular feedback to parents/carers.
  • •Follow behaviour management and safeguarding policies (including CPOMS logging), and contribute to CPD, curriculum action groups, and school events/ECA delivery.

Key Requirements

  • •A Bachelor degree in Education or a related subject with PGCE (or equivalent teaching qualification).
  • •Teaching experience in English National Curriculum.
  • •Experience teaching across the full primary age ability range with proven success.
  • •Experience teaching the UK National Curriculum.
  • •Commitment to continuing professional development (CPD), with experience in more than one international school desirable.
