Job Summary

Lead and oversee Contracts Management delivery across all phases of large EPC/EPCI business line projects. Ensure compliance of contracts processes across portfolios and provide the right operational information to executive management and functional VPs. Manage multiple contract deliveries, oversee contract and claims success for allocated contracts, conduct contract negotiations, and drive implementation and verification of McDermott policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure departmental improvement initiatives are delivered.
•Provide manpower and bid forecasts to Business Line Management as necessary.
•Manage relationships with Contracts Management stakeholders across project functions and partners (e.g., Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Legal, Finance, EXCOM, and customers/clients).
•Own and lead the implementation, enforcement, and verification of compliance with McDermott policies and procedures, ensuring employees understand responsibilities and authorities.
•Conduct contract negotiations with customers/clients, coordinate workloads and resources with senior contracts leadership, and ensure contracts specialists coordinate appropriate activities.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (Engineering, legal, Commercial, or Quantity Surveying) plus 10 years of Contracts Management experience, with 1–2 years of management experience.
•Proven experience in contract management in the EPC/EPCI industry, including Energy Transition, Onshore, Offshore, Subsea, or Floating Facilities (FPSO/FPU).
•In-depth knowledge of EPC/EPCI project lifecycles across design, procurement, construction, and installation phases.
•Strong negotiation skills with the ability to analyze complex contract requirements, identify risks, and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
•Proficient in contract management software and the MS Office Suite, with strong organization, time management, and ability to work under pressure.
