Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide indirect tax guidance to internal business partners on complex sales and use tax matters across multiple jurisdictions.
  • •Analyze and interpret state and local tax laws and administrative guidance to develop defensible positions, including for SaaS and digital products.
  • •Review externally prepared sales and use tax returns in detail and maintain sales tax account reconciliations for balance sheet reporting.
  • •Lead U.S. indirect tax compliance activities (e.g., business license tax, gross receipts tax, property tax, and related filings).
  • •Identify systemic risk and control gaps by connecting data across reports, systems, and filings, and manage state and local sales/use tax audits end-to-end.
