Key Responsibilities

  • •Establish, maintain, and oversee a model risk management framework and governance structure in partnership with enterprise stakeholders.
  • •Develop and implement company-wide standards for the model risk management framework.
  • •Ensure model identification and clear ownership of models and related controls; manage the model inventory and drive program process improvements.
  • •Conduct periodic model risk and control assessments and oversee ongoing model performance and findings, including issues tracking and escalation.
  • •Develop and produce model risk reports for Board and executive audiences, and standardize/automate governance workflows as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Equivalent to a four-year college degree plus 5 years of related experience and/or training, along with 12 to 18 months of related management experience (or equivalent combination).
  • •Broad knowledge across fields such as accounting, business administration, and finance.
  • •Ability to read, analyze, and understand financial reports and legal documents, and respond to complex inquiries from regulatory agencies.
  • •Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts and perform analytical methods such as analysis of variance, correlation, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
  • •Ability to understand and analyze complex quantitative models, risk, and controls involved in their use across the enterprise.
