Job Summary

Set up and operate conventional CNC lathe machines to produce aerospace, jet engine, and military components to ATI’s safety and quality standards. You’ll inspect raw materials and finished parts, machine components to required tolerances, perform cleaning and final inspection, complete production documentation accurately, and carry out preventative maintenance. The role runs 3rd shift (11pm–7am), with training available on other shifts.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform raw material incoming visual inspection.
•Set up and operate conventional CNC lathe machines to complete manufacturing operations.
•Machine parts to meet tolerances for final inspection and ensure dimensional accuracy.
•Inspect, clean, and complete product final inspection at the end of the production cycle.
•Perform preventative maintenance and accurately complete required production documentation.

Key Requirements

•Basic reading, math, and measurement comprehension, including the ability to follow instructions and perform simple measurements.
•Machining certificate or prior CNC machining experience (preferred) and willingness to train into the role as an entry-level candidate.
•1 year of experience in a transferrable industry with transferrable skills (preferred).
•Dedication to safe working practices and strong attention to detail for precision work.
•Ability to lift 50 pounds and problem solve in a manufacturing environment.
