Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure reliability and performance by detecting, analyzing, and preventing infrastructure issues while maintaining SLI/SLO targets.
  • •Provide tier 1 troubleshooting for network and provisioning problems, including switch provisioning, server build failures, and complex physical-layer defects.
  • •Manage site operations such as console DNS mapping, connectivity troubleshooting, verification of automation scripts, network audits, and customer handoffs.
  • •Serve as point of contact for network hardware failures, overseeing switch swaps/appliance replacements and managing RMA processes.
  • •Collaborate with DC and network engineering teams on data center expansion work (e.g., structural cabling, fabric switch uplifts) and lead process improvements for recurring network issues.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of professional production engineering experience.
  • •5+ years contributing to architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability, scaling) of new and current systems.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or 8+ years relevant work experience.
  • •Experience writing high-quality code in at least one language (Python, Go, or similar).
  • •Experience with infrastructure tooling and practices such as Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Cloud Formation, Terraform, and CI/CD (GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, GitHub Actions).
