Job Summary

Maintain and repair heavy construction and fleet equipment in a night shift team environment. Ensure a safe workplace by following safety policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations. Diagnose mechanical issues, rebuild and maintain equipment, inspect and test for operating efficiency, perform dismantling/reassembly, record time/parts, and assist maintenance staff to keep equipment and vehicles running.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure a safe work environment and comply with safety policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations.
•Analyze equipment malfunctions, diagnose defects, and perform repairs, rebuilds, and maintenance on heavy construction equipment.
•Dismantle and reassemble equipment using hoists and hand power tools; examine parts for damage or excessive wear.
•Replace defective components (e.g., engines, transmissions, electric motors, hydraulic pumps/valves, pistons, gears) and test equipment for operating efficiency.
•Perform record keeping of time and parts used and assist other maintenance staff; complete general cleaning of work and maintenance areas.
