Key Responsibilities

  • •Interface with customers, product management, and hardware engineers to develop innovative network systems features.
  • •Architect, design, and manage development of network systems features.
  • •Develop and maintain features using C, C++ and Python; review specs and build automated tests/test infrastructure.
  • •Collaborate with hardware and manufacturing teams to bring new hardware to market and design software control interfaces for hardware components.
  • •Work with customer support and system test engineers to analyze, mitigate, and fix issues; mentor new and junior engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •BS in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering with 8 years experience, or MS with 6 years, or PhD with 3 years, or equivalent experience.
  • •Expert knowledge of C or C++ and Python.
  • •Knowledge of UNIX or Linux.
  • •Hands-on experience designing and developing hardware device drivers and/or system management utilities.
  • •Applied understanding of software engineering principles and strong problem solving/software troubleshooting skills.
