Job Summary

Shape and lead the AI agent and backend platform other teams build on. Own reusable libraries, Spring Boot starters, templates, and tooling that enable agentic frameworks, orchestration, tool use, memory, and integrations. Drive evaluation and guardrail strategy to measure agent quality and reliability. Lead technical direction across a Kotlin/Spring Boot core and Python-based agent development, mentoring product teams and raising developer experience standards across the org.

Key Responsibilities

•Own the design of shared libraries, Spring Boot starters, and templates, making key architecture, API, and trade-off decisions.
•Set patterns and standards for agentic frameworks and orchestration (tool use, memory, message routing, human-in-the-loop workflows, MCP integration).
•Mentor and upskill product teams in Python-based AI agent development, including hands-on guidance with LangChain and LangGraph.
•Lead evaluation and guardrail strategy to measure agent quality, reliability, and regressions.
•Drive technical work across the Kotlin/Spring Boot platform and wrap-around client libraries, raise developer experience, and feed learnings back into the platform.

Key Requirements

•7+ years of professional software engineering experience building libraries, frameworks, or platform components other engineers build on.
•Deep experience with Kotlin/JVM and Spring Boot, with strong instincts for API and library design.
•Demonstrated technical leadership: set direction, justify architectural trade-offs, and lift engineers even without formal authority.
•Strong drive to lead agentic AI tooling (frameworks, evaluations, guardrails, orchestration) and become a go-to expert.
•Pragmatic working knowledge of Python and ability to ramp up quickly across both Kotlin and Python stacks.
