Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the design of shared libraries, Spring Boot starters, and templates, making key architecture, API, and trade-off decisions.
  • •Set patterns and standards for agentic frameworks and orchestration (tool use, memory, message routing, human-in-the-loop workflows, MCP integration).
  • •Mentor and upskill product teams in Python-based AI agent development, including hands-on guidance with LangChain and LangGraph.
  • •Lead evaluation and guardrail strategy to measure agent quality, reliability, and regressions.
  • •Drive technical work across the Kotlin/Spring Boot platform and wrap-around client libraries, raise developer experience, and feed learnings back into the platform.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of professional software engineering experience building libraries, frameworks, or platform components other engineers build on.
  • •Deep experience with Kotlin/JVM and Spring Boot, with strong instincts for API and library design.
  • •Demonstrated technical leadership: set direction, justify architectural trade-offs, and lift engineers even without formal authority.
  • •Strong drive to lead agentic AI tooling (frameworks, evaluations, guardrails, orchestration) and become a go-to expert.
  • •Pragmatic working knowledge of Python and ability to ramp up quickly across both Kotlin and Python stacks.
