Job Summary

Senior full-stack backend engineer to build and scale APIs and data layers for a multi-cloud, hybrid SAAS infrastructure in the Alterya fintech/AI threat intelligence team. You’ll collaborate on architecture, deliver high-quality, well-tested code, and work with Python, Redis, BigQuery, and PostgreSQL across multi-region cloud environments in Tel Aviv.

Key Responsibilities

•Collaborate with peers to define architecture, quality standards, and best practices for the data platform and APIs.
•Deliver simple, high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code and solutions.
•Interface with multiple sections of the R&D team and other business units, demonstrating strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
•Help build and scale production-grade backend services, data solutions, infrastructure, and data collection capabilities in a multi-cloud, hybrid SAAS environment.
•Contribute to cloud-based architecture discussions and collaborate effectively with open source projects if applicable.

Key Requirements

•Extensive experience as a backend developer with a track record of delivering high-quality products.
•Strong proficiency in Python.
•Familiarity with Redis, BigQuery, PostgreSQL (or equivalent SQL language).
•Ability to be independent and proactive, as well as a team player.
•Great communication and ability to simplify complex ideas while collaborating effectively with others.
