Key Responsibilities

  • •Implement seasonal summer/winter short-term schedule changes to pursue revenue opportunities.
  • •Liaise with network planning to evaluate demand trends, customer needs, and seasonal capacity variations to develop optimum schedules.
  • •Coordinate with Flight Operations, Technical, Joramco, Planning, Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Services to balance resource utilization with revenue potential.
  • •Manage and coordinate slots for short-term network schedules, including negotiations with slot coordinators and airline schedulers and representing Gulf Air in IATA/AACO schedule meetings.
  • •Maintain and review schedule data during the season, ensure approvals are obtained from civil aviation authorities, and handle short-notice changes (e.g., engineering, crewing constraints, VIP movements, emergencies) while protecting Gulf Air interests.

Key Requirements

  • •University degree in Business Management; Mathematics preferred, with Aviation, Statistics, Economics, or Logistics also considered.
  • •Minimum 7 to 10 years of airline commercial planning/scheduling and slot portfolio development experience.
  • •Experience with schedule publication/distribution and operational experience in the airline industry.
  • •Experience coordinating airline schedules, slot valuation, and operational/engineering requirements without compromising safety.
  • •Management training (required as part of the experience expectations).
