  • •Take responsibility for residents’ physical, emotional, and social well-being and meet their needs.
  • •Coaching and guiding the team with formal and informal teaching programmes for colleagues and care professionals.
  • •Carry out assessments and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
  • •Monitor work areas and practices to ensure safety and compliance with relevant standards, policies, and legislation.
  • •Oversee care, administer and order medication, review/evaluate care plans, and provide clinical guidance to the care team.

Key Requirements

  • •Be a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin.
  • •Manage the unit alongside clinical duties in the home, including oversight of care and medication administration/ordering.
  • •Have previous experience maintaining high clinical standards and adherence to policies and standards.
  • •Provide clinical guidance to care teams and support CQC tasks.
  • •Strong communication and reporting skills for effective clinical handovers; able to work safely during night shifts with limited support.
