  • •Ensure mine rescue teams are fully staffed, trained, competent, qualified, and equipped.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Emergency Management, Mining Engineering, Fire Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • •8-10 years of underground mining experience.
  • •5+ years leading emergency response, mine rescue, or emergency services.
  • •MSHA Mine Rescue Instructor certification.
  • •Experience leading mine rescue/emergency response teams and Incident Command System (ICS) experience, with strong MSHA knowledge.
