Job Summary

Manage all aspects of a manufacturing department, leading safety, quality, productivity, cost, and culture across medium-size plant operations. Partner with EHS to maintain safe working environments, enforce 5S and GMP standards, and oversee performance systems using KPIs and disciplined meeting/audit routines. Lead supervisory staff, drive continuous improvement and best practices, manage capital project recommendations, and ensure customer complaint investigations and corrective actions are completed effectively.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage safety, quality, productivity, cost, and culture for the manufacturing department in line with procedures, standards, and customer requirements.
•Establish, maintain, communicate, and enforce safety, quality, waste, and productivity standards; ensure housekeeping per 5S and GMP.
•Oversee the department Performance Control System (PCS): KPIs, auditing shift meetings, leading department meetings, and maintaining action item registers.
•Supervise salaried staff of Shift Supervisors including hiring, terminations, recognition, discipline, training, employee relations, performance management, and salary administration.
•Lead continuous improvement and best practice execution, including capital project recommendations and investigation/corrective actions for injuries, incidents, near misses, and customer complaints.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree with emphasis on a technical field or equivalent education and experience.

•Experience overseeing performance control systems (KPIs, audits, shift meetings) and ensuring action items are tracked and resolved.
