Key Responsibilities

  • •Prep vehicles for paint by performing sanding, masking, taping, and other surface preparation steps.
  • •Perform bagging and unbagging/tear-down steps as part of the prepping process.
  • •Buff vehicles as part of preparing them for cosmetic paintwork.
  • •Work in Carvana’s Inspection Centers using state-of-the-art tools and follow production processes.
  • •Be available for mandatory overtime based on business needs.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum of 6 months of professional automotive prepping experience.
  • •Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools, including lifting up to 60 pounds independently.
  • •Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license; some positions may require an MVR check.
  • •Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment and be exposed to heat/cold.
  • •Use safety equipment such as face shields or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, masks, and other protective gear.
