Key Responsibilities

  • •Implement capital projects to support Protected Vehicles Industrial strategy from concept through equipment handover.
  • •Execute projects using Manage the Change (MOC) documentation to achieve Australian standards, Thales policies, and HSE standards.
  • •Develop manufacturing, repair, service, testing, and integration plans and procedures, and support defining and maintaining applicable standards.
  • •Prepare manufacturing/repair/service data file documentation for handover to Operations/Maintenance as the customer.
  • •Support operational teams with first-level maintenance (TPM), respond to Andon call escalations, and assess plant equipment risk, suitability, lifecycle, downtime, and obsolescence for multi-year budget and planning.

Key Requirements

  • •Engineering Degree and knowledge of capital projects implementation from concept to handover.
  • •Experience implementing continuous improvement and management tools such as Lean (flow management), Gemba Walks, Compass Room, PDCA, and TPM.
  • •Intermediate knowledge of production and repair processes, products, and manufacturing/repair processes.
  • •Knowledge of industrial management control, stock management, and flow management methodologies.
  • •Knowledge of production tools, industrial IT, and use of dashboards for analysis and decision support.
