Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered products that improve associate and customer experiences.
  • •Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI software components including foundation model training, LLM inference, similarity search, guardrails, model evaluation, experimentation, governance, and observability.
  • •Leverage open-source and SaaS AI technologies such as AWS Ultraclusters, Hugging Face, VectorDBs, and Nemo Guardrails.
  • •Invent and introduce LLM optimization techniques to improve scalability, cost, latency, and throughput of large-scale production AI systems.
  • •Contribute to the technical vision and long-term roadmap for foundational AI systems.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields with 6+ years developing AI/ML algorithms or technologies, or a Master’s with 4+ years.
  • •6+ years programming with Python, Go, Scala, or Java.
  • •Experience deploying scalable and responsible AI solutions on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, or equivalent).
  • •Demonstrated ability to design, develop, integrate, deliver, and support complex AI systems (including LLM inference, similarity search, VectorDBs, and guardrails).
  • •Experience applying state-of-the-art techniques to optimize AI training/inference for hardware utilization, latency, throughput, and cost.
