Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and scale the UK AI Forward Deployed AI/ML professional services team, including hiring, mentoring, and team structure.
  • •Develop and expand executive relationships with EMEA customers and partners, advising during complex AI transformations.
  • •Align with Field Engineering and Sales leaders to define joint strategies for strategic accounts and coordinate delivery across functions.
  • •Lead strategic AI professional services initiatives, practice development, and standardized delivery processes, including scalable engagement models and reusable solutions.
  • •Own OKRs for AI-services-led accounts (revenue, utilisation, and public references) and represent Databricks as a thought leader in AI/ML.

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive experience managing, hiring, and building high-performing data science/ML engineering teams and scaling organisations through repeatable processes and leader development.
  • •Ability to scope, guide, and “sell” technical engagements, manage escalations, and ensure successful enterprise delivery.
  • •Deep technical expertise in ML, GenAI, and data science, with a drive to stay current in a fast-evolving field.
  • •Experience leading teams building production ML solutions in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • •Proven success developing strategies with senior executive stakeholders and earning trust through complex enterprise engagements.
