Job Summary

Join the Maintenance team at a Crossville, TN plant producing condensed, natural smoke flavoring. Work the 12-hour night shift (Tue–Thu and every other Monday) completing building repairs and equipment installation, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. Perform hands-on tasks including pipe system work, repairs and replacements of valves and pressure regulators, welding/fabrication, and rebuilding/repairing pumps and motors while following safety, housekeeping, and manufacturing compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Complete building repairs, equipment installation, troubleshooting, and timely fulfillment of assigned work orders.
•Follow good manufacturing practices including preventative maintenance, good housekeeping, and inventory maintenance.
•Ensure compliance with safety and environmental laws and regulations under a “Safety First, Quality Always” mindset.
•Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other machinery parts.
•Install and maintain pipe systems and perform repairs/replacements for gauges, valves, and pressure regulators, including welding and electrical/plumbing/cutting work.

Key Requirements

•2+ years of general maintenance experience.
•Experience in a manufacturing environment, with food/beverage experience highly preferred.

•Demonstrate basic technical knowledge including stainless steel welding/fabrication, piping systems, electricity, and HVAC systems.
•Ability to be or become a sanitary certified welder (outside certification).
