Job Summary

Lead and improve ATI’s industrial hygiene program across two Oregon manufacturing facilities, partnering with EHS Safety Professionals and managing IH consultants. Evaluate health risks and exposures, mentor the team, and direct related controls. Serve as Radiation Safety Officer, manage radiation program activities, committee reviews, and regulatory contacts. Co-chair safety and SDS authoring efforts to keep training, audits, and GHS/SDS compliance effective. Manage budget, equipment, and related resources.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead a team to manage and improve the industrial hygiene program (sample/monitor/assess/control) at two Oregon facilities and consult with ATI safety professionals.
•Use scientific methods to evaluate health risks and determine control solutions, while mentoring and developing the IH team.
•Act as Radiation Safety Officer for two facilities; lead Radiation Safety Committee quarterly reviews; manage licenses and coordinate with facility security.
•Co-chair safety program team by establishing audit processes and providing revisions and mentorship to other auditors.
•Co-chair the corporate-wide SDS authoring team to direct local resources and ensure timely updates and GHS compliance; support EHSQ awareness training program operations.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene or a related field (master’s preferred).
•CIH certification required.
•10 years of industrial EHS experience.
•Experience in a manufacturing environment, with metals/materials environment preferred.
•Knowledge of asbestos, advanced silica, hearing conservation, respiratory protection, and particulate (PM2.5/PM10); proficient with Microsoft Office.
