Job Summary

Operate sampling and testing for soils, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt materials while ensuring safe field and lab practices. Collect samples, follow DOT and governing agency specifications, perform testing aligned to certification levels, and accurately record and report results. Maintain daily records and reports, keep the lab environment clean, and promptly escalate non-compliant test findings to supervisors. Driving of a company vehicle is required.

Key Responsibilities

•Safely collect samples for testing asphalt and concrete materials.
•Perform sampling, testing, and reporting according to established protocol and record results accurately and timely.
•Maintain daily records of test results, prepare daily reports, and submit results to project lead technician or lab supervisor.
•Follow company policies and MSHA/OSHA regulations; maintain a clean lab environment and perform housekeeping.
•Promptly report non-compliant test results to the project superintendent when applicable.
