Job Summary

Systems Engineer at Mercado Livre will design and scale innovative, secure systems, troubleshoot hardware, software and networks, and maintain infrastructure across servers, storage and networks. Job Function: IT Operations (Systems/Network Admin)

Key Responsibilities

•Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and network problems, providing on-site and remote technical support to distribution center users.
•Administrate and maintain technology infrastructure including servers, networks and storage systems to ensure proper operation and high availability.
•Monitor equipment performance and perform preventive maintenance to ensure operational stability.
•Manage mobile device solutions and endpoint monitoring tools, maintaining asset inventories and updating technical procedure documentation.
•Provide support and administration of end devices used in logistics operations (printers, data collectors, handhelds, scanners, etc.) and integrate AI/automation tools to optimize incident analysis and reporting.

Key Requirements

•Academic degree in Information Technology, Systems Engineering or related fields with proven experience of 5+ years in technical support and infrastructure administration
•Mastery of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and firewalls, plus VPN security policies, QoS and routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP
•Experience administering Windows, ChromeOS and macOS, and managing Active Directory and monitoring tools such as Zabbix and Grafana
•Technical knowledge of end devices, supporting critical operating environments, asset management and troubleshooting end-user devices and peripherals
•Knowledge of ITIL, SRE and agile methodologies; logistics environments experience is valued
