Key Responsibilities

  • •Undertake numerical analysis for potable, surface and wastewater systems using computer-based programmes.
  • •Carry out technical and feasibility studies to appraise alternative solution practicability.
  • •Perform structural analysis and design, including determination of design situation and load cases using analysis software.
  • •Produce water infrastructure designs (e.g., pump systems and pipe networks) and related safety-in-design documentation.
  • •Work with team members on technical and site work, including producing and consolidating working drawings and keeping up-to-date with regulatory guidance.

Key Requirements

  • •BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering with a 2:1 classification (or equivalent).
  • •MEng in Civil, Structural, or a Water Engineering related MSc (civils) is an advantage.
  • •Water-related modules and relevant work experience are an advantage.
  • •Basic computer skills (Word/Excel) and good report writing skills.
  • •Willing and able to work towards professional qualifications such as ICE & CIWEM.
