Job Summary

Deliver heavy equipment safely and on time for EquipmentShare’s rental facility, operating vehicles in compliance with state and federal transportation laws. Use real-time technology access to fleet locations, work orders, and delivery details, then manage loading/unloading, shipping paperwork, and routine truck service tasks. Maintain safety and customer-ready professionalism, with a Monday–Friday schedule and overtime after 40 hours, plus on-call coverage when required.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate the vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws and observe all safety regulations.
•Transport loads safely and timely over required routes while following traffic laws.
•Maneuver truck and trailer into loading/unloading areas, follow loading crew signals, and assist with loading/unloading using specialized equipment when needed.
•Maintain shipping paperwork (invoices and bills of lading) and deliver required documentation when routes are complete.
•Facilitate routine truck service (e.g., checking oil, water, gasoline, air) and report maintenance malfunctions; arrange trailers for optimum loading patterns.

•Be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds and perform safety-sensitive duties, including a 10-panel drug screen.
