Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to development, review, and optimization of strategic and target asset allocation to improve risk/return profiles for shareholder and policyholder funds.
  • •Cover and manage asset strategy for public assets including listed equity, REITs, and FX, and evaluate and implement new investment initiatives within the Investment Hub structure.
  • •Oversee asset managers’ execution of investment strategy, risk monitoring, and investment performance under the investment outsourcing framework.
  • •Build and maintain an investment risk framework and ensure corporate governance standards; recommend and implement investment policies, fund structures, and vehicles while monitoring against performance measures and risk limits.
  • •Work with middle office and operations to support investment management reporting and monitor fund performance against benchmarks and risk limits; manage relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders on investment matters.

Key Requirements

  • •University graduate in business administration, investment, and finance-related disciplines; CFA or Fellow of a recognized actuarial organization is an advantage.
  • •Proven working experience in the insurance industry.
  • •Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with the ability to conceptualize solutions to complex issues.
  • •Excellent communication and presentation skills for various stakeholders; innovative and strategic, results-oriented.
  • •Proficiency in MS Office; practical experience using VBA and stochastic modeling techniques is an advantage.
